Patient Details:

This patient in her 40’s was interested in trimming her waistline. Her fatty accumulation included the ‘love handles’ and extended backwards along the entire waistline. This area is known as the flank. Selectively shedding weight in this area may be difficult as diet and exercise alone cannot achieve targeted fat loss. Dr. Tong recommended that she undergo liposuction to selectively remove fat from the flanks. She subsequently had the procedure, and these photos highlight removal of bulging in the flanks, resulting in a more tapered, shapely waistline. The patient was very happy with the results.
